American Society Of Appraisers (ASA)

The American Society of Appraisers is committed to fostering professional excellence in its membership through education, accreditation, publication and other services. Its prestige is intended to contribute to the growth of its membership and to the appraisal profession.

Appraisal Issue Task Force (AITF)

The Appraisal Issues Task Force (AITF) is a voluntary group of professional appraisers who wish to improve the practice of valuation. The FASB and the SEC are increasingly looking to information regarding Fair Value, or Fair Market Value.  Yet there is a lack of authoritative guidance regarding so-called Best Practice.  The AITF will work with the FASB and the SEC to evaluate proposals and recommend methodology, assumptions and approaches.

Institute Of Business Appraisers (IBA)

The Institute of Business Appraisers is the oldest professional society devoted solely to the appraisal of closely-held businesses. Established in 1978, the Institute is a pioneer in business appraisal education and professional accreditation.

National Association Of Valuation Analysts (NACVA)
NACVA is a global, professional association that supports the business valuation, litigation consulting, and fraud deterrence disciplines within the CPA and professional business advisory communities. Along with its training and certification programs, NACVA offers research support, marketing tools, software, journals, reference materials, and proprietary databases to enhance the professional capabilities and capacities of its members.

National Center for Employee Ownership (NCEO)

The National Center for Employee Ownership (NCEO) is a private, nonprofit membership and research organization that serves as the leading source of accurate, unbiased information on employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs), equity compensation plans such as stock options, and ownership culture.  It is a significant publisher and research source in the field, holds dozens of Webinars and live meetings annually, and provides services to thousands of members.

The ESOP Association

The ESOP Association is the national membership organization with a primary focus on employee ownership through employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs). It provides members with information through conferences, over 40 publications, and local chapters. It directs an aggressive advocacy program, as the leading voice before Congress and regulatory agencies on protecting and enhancing ESOP law.
