Richard St. Germain Joins Atlantic Management Company

John W. Murphy, president of Atlantic Management Company, Inc., is pleased to announce that Richard St. Germain has joined the company’s Valuation Group as a valuation analyst.

Rich comes to Atlantic Management Company from the capital markets industry with over 10 years trading and research experience in the equity and capital markets.
Through his years of experience with trading, he assisted with the development of proprietary trading software that was utilized at two different trading firms.  Rich was instrumental with the start up of energy power marketer Power Company of America, LP (PCA) where he was responsible for profit and loss management, volume reporting and hedge execution.  PCA consistently ranked as one of the top power marketers in megawatt hours traded.  From PCA, he was actively involved with firms in developing option strategies, determining trade entry and exit points, and managing relationships between brokers and vendors. 

Most recently, Mr. St. Germain was the head trader at Diamond Head Trading, Ltd. in Houston, Texas where his primary roles included the initial evaluation and screening of investment opportunities, monitoring and reporting on existing investments, and execution of a strategic plan.  Through his development of the firm’s investment strategy, Rich gained a variety of skills from technical analysis to the use of derivatives.Mr. St. Germain obtained NASD Series 7, 63, and 55 licenses, as well as a real estate license from the state of Florida.  He graduated from Boston College in 1991 with a BA degree in Economics, and lettered in varsity lacrosse all four years, culminating in his election as team captain his senior year.
