Atlantic Management Company Advises on Maine Oxy Transaction

Atlantic Management Company, Inc. is pleased to announce that Maine Oxy Employee Stock Ownership Plan and Trust has acquired an additional interest in Maine Oxy-Acetylene Supply Company, Inc. of Auburn, Maine .  Atlantic Management Company, Inc. served as independent appraiser to the trustee of the ESOP, and assisted in structuring the transaction.

Maine Oxy is a distributor of gases used primarily for industrial use.  The company offers industrial and medical gases along with the training, equipment, and servicing required to use them.  The product line includes acetylene, argon, carbon dioxide, oxygen, propane, helium, hydrogen, nitrogen, nitrous oxide, plus many other specialty gases.  Maine Oxy’s principal plant, warehouse, and headquarters is located in Auburn, Maine .  Along with the store at the Auburn, Maine location, there are seven other locations with over 40 cylinder distribution points located throughout Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts.
