Ownership Transition Seminars
Atlantic Management outlines various options a business owner should consider as well as the pros and cons of each. After analyzing companies for nearly four decades, we can help dispel a number of misconceptions, point out various pitfalls, and give real life examples of both terrible and terrific transition plans.  This seminar is designed to arm business owners not only with the facts, but also with the questions he/she needs to answer in order to develop an ownership transition plan.

Business Valuation
The applications for business valuations are numerous, including: mergers, acquisitions, spin-offs, litigation, buy-sell agreements, divorce, ESOP transactions, etc. There are many factors to consider when valuing a business and our seminars will prepare the business advisor as to what approaches should be used when valuing a closely held business and the effects of their choice.
 
Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs)
ESOPs can be a great way for owners to transition out of their company in a controlled process that protects their employees and their legacy.  However, ESOPs aren’t for everyone.  Our presentation will help owners / advisors understand how to determine if an ESOP is a good option, explain how the process works, and discuss the implications for the business owner.
