Devine Millimet Buy-Sell Agreement Seminar

Buy-sell agreements, also called cross-purchase agreements, are frequently used by owners of closely-held businesses to provide that an owner will be bought-out by the other owners or by the business upon the occurrence of specified events such as death or retirement.  This provides benefits such as certainty as to the identity of ownership and ensuring the liquidity of an estate.  Owners are advised to implement such arrangements before the need for them arises.

 

Presenters Scott Ellison, an attorney and shareholder with the law firm of Devine Millimet; John P. Murphy, ASA, MCBA, senior vice president of Atlantic Management Company; and Michael J. Savastano, CLU, principal of Savastano Insurance, have specifically designed the content for the owners of closely-held businesses.  Case studies will also be discussed and ample time will be allowed for questions and answers.

 

The seminar takes place on Tuesday, March 21 at the law offices of Devine Millimet, 111 Amherst Street, Manchester, NH.  Registration and a continental breakfast take place from 8:30 - 9:00 a.m., with the program running from 9:00 a.m. to noon.
